About the event
We are in the lucky position of having lots of cake so we do not need any extra this time .
As this is very likely to be a popular workshop, please let Anne know if you wish to attend .
We will be revisiting ‘Decoupage ‘ using shells. Anne has 18 scallop shells, 3 oyster shells available for use. So if you have some of your own please bring them.
You will also need to bring with you
- Acrylic paint
- Permanent marker pens
- Serviettes of choice.
Anne has some of a marine design (available as a swap, or 50p each) or swap between yourselves.
A pair of tweezers is useful.
Two soft brushes
- one to apply glue
- one to press your design in place.
Wet wipes always useful.
If preferred bring any item you wish to decorate.
Stones can be made in to paperweights.
Bottles decorated and used as lights.
Hobbycraft have a number of papier-mâché shapes that can be used.
If you would like to join us and decoupage is not your thing come along anyway and enjoy the company.
If your preference is to paint your shell, acrylic is best and quick drying,
You will need some fine brushes.
As always Anne will have some design ideas.
