I was working as the Gloucestershire Dental Health Coordinator back in the 1990’s when I decided there were other ambitions I wished to fulfil. I took (very!) early retirement and enrolled on a watercolour painting course at the local Technical College. I was immediately smitten! I loved the way watercolours could be blended and their transparency.

Moving to Suffolk opened up more opportunities to paint seascapes, however my love of the countryside still prevails. I have developed my flower meadow paintings over the years, painting from my own photographs yet adding an abstract image – and of course the Suffolk skies.
